The Organization
In January of 1999, a few Ultimate players gathered on the beach in Santa Monica to compete in fun-filled day of Beach Ultimate Frisbee competition. Ten years later, Lei-Out is the biggest and most competitive Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in the United States.
Lei-Out is dedicated to continuing to grow the sport of Beach Ultimate by strengthening the local, national, and global Beach Ultimate Community. We strive to produce the best tournament experiences for all of our participants.
Today Lei-Out hosts over 1,000 participants and countless spectators in our Annual Beach Ultimate Tournament in Santa Monica. And our Lei-Out Beach League is the only one of its kind worldwide.
In the coming years we intend to continue to expand our events and continue to build a robust Beach Ultimate Community much like poker has done with their events in the poker community.
