Registration FAQs

Here are some common questions regarding the new registration process. If you don't see your topic listed below, please contact us.

Why do I have to create an account before I can register my team?
Creating an account will allow us to tie your team directly to you which, in turn, will give you the ability to manage your team once it has been successfully registered.

How do I make changes to my team's roster?
Instructions on how to login and make changes to your team roster will be included as part of the team registration confirmation email. If you are experiencing technical issues, please contact us.

My captain has prepaid for me, do I still need to register?
Yes! All individual players must complete the individual player registration process in order to complete the online waiver and be eligible to play. Online registration will only apply to those who are 18 or older. If you require parent/guardian approval we will work with your team captain separately.

Why can't I pay by check this year?
We are really trying to minimize the amount of paper and other things that happen with the registration process this year. Really, online payment is your friend.

What if I don't have a PayPal account?
You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay for Lei-Out though PayPal. The PayPal website allows you to use a credit card in lieu of a PayPal account. Please contact us if you have any trouble with this process.

What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available if you have to cancel your bid for Lei-Out 2012. Please read the below time table carefully as the refund amounts are not negotiable:

If you request a refund at midnight on 1/8/2012you will be denied. Refunds will be based on the date/time stamp of the email sent requesting the refund.

What is the registration deadline?
Team registration closed on December 31, 2011. If you want to be added to the wait list, please contact us. Individual player registration will close at 11:59 PM, Pacific Time on
January 13, 2012.

Do I need to be a UPA Member? Nope. Lei-Out is not a UPA sanctioned event.

What else do I need to know about Lei-Out?

  • Lei-Out is a 5 v 5 tourney with a 3/2 gender split. You can choose to play 3 women BUT both teams have to agree to playing 3 women before each game and the offensive team decides the gender ratio.
  • Lei-Out will follow BULA rules.
  • Lei-Out is FUN!

Really, if you still need help with a registration question please send an email to Lei-Out Registration.
